Just before 6:30 p.m., Pittsburgh EMS, Fire, and Police were dispatched to Mifflin Road near the intersection with Lebanon Road for reports of a two-vehicle collision.
A sedan was travelling southbound on Mifflin Road when it crossed the centerline and collided with an SUV heading northbound.
The sedan was solely occupied by the driver, an adult male. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The SUV had three occupants. The adult male driver sustained injuries to his leg. He was transported in critical condition and later updated to stable condition. The two passengers, an adult male and adult female, were both transported in stable condition.
Speed does not appear to have played a role in the collision, but the Collision Investigation Unit was called to scene and will continue the investigation.
