Police Investigate Following Northview Heights Shooting, One Injured

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded to the 800 block of Mount Pleasant Road at approximately 8:30 p.m. for reports of a potential domestic shooting.
Arriving officers located an adult female victim with a ricochet gunshot would to her leg. She also sustained non-gunshot facial injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit was called to process evidence at the scene.
The Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit responded to investigate. The investigation is ongoing.
