Police Investigate Armed Bank Robbery in Lower Lawrenceville

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to a bank robbery at New Alliance Credit Union in the 3700 block of Butler Street.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., an adult male, dressed all in black and wearing a mask, entered the facility, flashed a gun, and demanded he be given money.
An employee handed over a large amount of cash to the suspect before the actor fled the building.
No one was injured.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating, including reviewing all available video evidence. The investigation is ongoing.
