On the morning of December 21, the Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, with the assistance of SWAT, executed a felony arrest warrant for a male wanted on firearms violations in the 400 block of W. Elizabeth Street.
The suspect initially barricaded himself inside the house before surrendering without further incident.
Additional search warrants obtained by police resulted in the recovery of a fully automatic pistol modified with a switch and extended magazine and quantities of heroin and crack cocaine.
Donald Hines Jr., 19, was arrested and charged with firearms and narcotics violations.
He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
