Police Officer Assaulted While Serving Warrant

Date: January 8, 2024
Incident Type: Assault
Location: Zone 6
Summary:

Just before 4 a.m., a Zone 6 officer was punched in the face while attempting to serve a 302 warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Fairywood Street.

EMS evaluated the officer at the scene.

The warrant suspect was taken into custody and transported to the hospital.
