Police, Fire, EMS Dispatched for Three-Vehicle Crash on Route 51

Summary:
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Police from Zone 3, EMS, and Fire responded to Saw Mill Run Blvd. at Overbrook Blvd. for reports of a multi-vehicle collision.
Arriving units located three vehicles, one of which struck a building that was unoccupied and no longer in business.
Medics applied a neck brace to a female patient and transported her to the hospital in stable condition.
City inspectors with Permits, Licenses, and Inspections were called to assess the structural integrity of the building.
The male driver of one of the vehicles, who is believed to have caused the collision, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and taken for further testing.
