While patrolling the South Side on Sunday night, SSEP officers were first on scene at a suspected burglary in the 900 block of Bingham Street where they discovered someone had set a bed on fire.
Jeffery Shelpman, 35, was arrested and charged with Burglary, Trespassing, Arson, Disorderly Conduct, and Criminal Mischief. He was taken to the ACJ.
