A Pittsburgh Bureau of Police detective saw a vehicle driving erratically on Western Avenue, near Galveston Avenue, shortly before 3 p.m.
The detective pulled the vehicle over. The driver complied, then got out of the vehicle and laid down in the street because he was suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the male victim to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police are trying to determine the shooting location. The investigation is ongoing.
