UPDATE: Police Respond to an Assault on the North Side

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 1 responded to a report of an assault in the 100 block of Eloise Street just after 1 p.m.
Once on scene, responding officers found a male victim with multiple wounds to the head. He was transported by EMS to a local hospital in critical condition.
A male suspect fled the scene on foot and was apprehended by Zone 1 officers near Merchant Street and Martindale Street,
The suspect was transported to Police Headquarters for questioning.
Detectives from VCU and the Mobile Crimes Unit processed the scene.
The investigation continues.
UPDATE: 7:04 p.m. 10/15/19
Lasalle Bradford, 49, of Pittsburgh has been charged with one count of Aggravated Assault in connection with this incident.
