UPDATE: As a reminder, per policy, the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police does not identify victims of violent crimes.

Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 2 were called to Mercy Hospital for a male stabbing victim who had walked into the hospital just after 4:30 a.m.

It's not known at this time where the incident occurred.

Police are investigating.
