Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to a 911 call of a structure fire at the 7300 block of Kelly Street around 1:55 a.m.
When firefighters arrived on scene, they observed a six unit row house showing flames. The two alarm fire made significant damage to the abandoned homes. One firefighter was treated by medics for minor smoke inhalation. Zone 5 officers closed Kelly Street between Sterrett Street and Collier Street.
The Fire Investigations Unit will investigate the cause of the fire.
