Pittsburgh Police and Fire responded to a 911 call of an overturned semi on the 62nd Street Bridge at Butler Street around 2:40 p.m.
First responders found the male driver outside of the cab with his load -- old, crushed vehicles -- on the roadway. The trailer had overturned, but not the cab. The driver was not injured, and no other vehicles were involved.
The 62nd Street Bridge is closed while crews clean the crash scene. Drivers should avoid the area.
UPDATE(7:00 p.m.) The 62nd Street Bridge is now open in both directions.
