Pittsburgh Police arrested Deric James Ivy, 27, on an outstanding arrest warrant for an incident involving an intimate female partner that began on November 22, 2019 on the 2600 block of Shadeland Avenue. The female victim called police on November 24 for a verbal threat in progress at approximately 11:30 p.m.
Ivy turned himself in to Zone 2 police at 1:18 p.m. on January 4, 2020.
He is charged with burglary, aggravated assault, initimidation of witnesses and victims, persons not to possess a firearm, two counts of theft by unlawful taking, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, criminal mischief, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.
Ivy is currently being housed in the Allegheny County Jail. He was unable to post bail.
UPDATE: 01/05/20 12:34 p.m. - An earlier version of this blotter entry stated that this arrest cleared a warrant out of North Versailles. It is actually Versailles Borough.
