Police Respond To Shots Fired in Uptown

Summary:

Around 12:15 p.m. Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 2 responded to a Shotspotter alert, followed by a report of a male victim who showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the back. His condition was not immediately known.

In the course of their investigation, police located a possible crime scene in the 100 block of Seneca Street.

A K9 aided in the search of a residence in this block and a female was transported to police headquarters for questioning.

Detectives from Major Crimes and the Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene.

The investigation continues.
