Pittsburgh Police, Fire and EMS responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Troy Hill Road near Goettmann Street around 6 p.m.
When first responders arrived, they found a 63-year-old male who had been struck by an SUV. Medics transported the male to a local hospital in stable condition.
Per the initial investigation: A dark-colored SUV struck the victim and the driver initially stopped. The male driver indicated that he was going to move his SUV to the side of the road, but instead got back into the vehicle and drove away.
No arrests at this time. Police are investigating.
