Police Respond to Unresponsive Male Outside Church

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were called to the 5400 block of Centre Avenue for a male found unresponsive just before 9 a.m.
When they arrived on scene they found a deceased adult male inside a sleeping bag in a covered, open-air portico of a church.The male was discovered by a maintenance worker who tried unsuccessfully to wake him and called police.
The male was in his late 30's.
The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office.
The investigation continues.
