Police Respond to Shooting in Homewood North

Summary:

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police responded to a Shotspotter alert for the 7400 block of Race Street around 1:05 p.m.

Responding Zone 5 officers observed a male stuck by a round while in a vehicle. The victim was struck in the leg. Medics transported him to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

There were no other injuries or suspect descriptions.

Police are investigating.
