Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 1 received a 911 call from a residence in the 1100 block of Ingham Street before 8:00 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found a male with a gunshot wound to his upper arm. The male was transported by EMS to a local hospital in stable condition.
Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit were also on scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still under investigation.
