Pedestrian Injured in Homewood Hit and Run

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police and EMS responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle around 8:35 p.m. on the 7300 block of Frankstown Avenue.

Zone 5 officers found a 47-year-old male with severe lacerations to his face and injuries to his arms and shoulder. Medics transported the male to a local hospital in stable condition.

The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. Officers later located the vehicle on Dearborn Street in Garfield and towed it. The investigation continues.
