Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, Fire and EMS responded to a report of an assault on the 300 block of Atwood Street around 3 a.m. on March 14.
Responding units found a male unconscious on the sidewalk. Witnesses said he had been jumped by a group of men who were no longer on scene.
Medics transported the victim to a local hospital in serious condition.
Police are investigating, to include reviewing video of the attack that has been shared online.

UPDATE (4:30 P.M., March 31, 2020): William Murphy, 27, was arrested in West Mifflin on March 31, 2020 by West Mifflin and Munhall Police officers. Members from the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police were on scene during the arrest. Pittsburgh Police are still asking for your assistance in the location of the second suspect Kevin Allison.

Pittsburgh Bureau of Police detectives seek the public's help locating two men wanted in connection to a March 14 assault in Oakland.
Police have issued warrants got William Murphy, 27, and Kevin Allison, 30. Both men face aggravated assault charges in an assault on the 300 block of Atwood Street around 3 a.m. on March 14.
