Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire Respond to Albert Street Fire

Summary:

Pittsburgh Bureaus of Fire, EMS and Police responded to a report of a structure fire on the 300 block of Albert Street on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 around 2:10 a.m.

Responding crews witnessed heavy smoke coming out of the structure. The occupants reported seeing flames in the rear of the house and escaped without injury.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without complication.

The Fire Investigation Unit, comprised of Pittsburgh Police detectives and Pittsburgh Fire investigators, is investigating the cause of the fire.
