Just before 6 p.m. PIttsburgh Police officers from Zone 1 responded to reports that the Allegheny County Law Enforcement Officers Memorial at 400 North Shore Drive had been vandalized.
The reporting person showed officers to the exact location where an anti-police message was spray-painted in yellow on the part of the memorial that is facing the Allegheny River.
Police will be reviewing any available surveillance footage that might have captured the date and time this occurred.
There are no suspects at this time.
