Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire Respond to Liberty Avenue Business Fire

Summary:

Pittsburgh Fire, EMS and Police responded to a 2-alarm structure fire at the 4500 block of Liberty Avenue around 4:20 a.m.

Responding crews spotted the fire on the first floor of the building. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire without complication. There were no reported injuries.

The Fire Investigation Unit, comprised of Pittsburgh Police detectives and Pittsburgh Fire investigators, will determine the cause.
