Detectives from the Pittsburgh Police Narcotics & Vice Squad and the US Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force have arrested a wanted person at a business on Progress Street on the City's North Side.
Akela Kwame Vance, 46, of Pittsburgh was wanted on two outstanding City of Pittsburgh arrest warrants, both related to child sexual assault charges.
Vance was taken into custody without incident as he arrived for work on the morning of April 17.
His charges include: Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Unlawful Contact with Minors, Corruption of Minors, Indecent Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children.
