Arrest Made in December 2019 Incident at Hotel Monaco

Summary:
An arrest has been made in a December 14, 2019 incident that occurred inside the Kimpton Hotel Monaco in the 600 block of William Penn Place around 2 a.m.
A male victim was critically injured during an altercation and was transported to the hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
No arrests were made at the time of the incident, but Pittsburgh Police continued to investigate.
On Monday, May 18, 2020 the Allegheny County Sheriff's Fugitive Task Force arrested Jared Skillman, 30, of Santa Fe, NM at Pittsburgh International Airport. Skillman was taken into custody without incident and transported to Allegheny County Jail. He faces a charge of Involuntary Manslaughter.
