SWAT Responds for Verbal Domestic

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were called to the 4800 block of Penn Avenue just after 3 a.m. for a verbal domestic dispute inside an apartment.
SWAT and negotiators were called to the scene out of an abundance of caution.
Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect inside, with negative results. Limited entry to the residence was eventually made with a key provided to police.
The suspect surrendered without incident a little over an hour after the incident began.
