Police Respond to Pedestrian Hit and Run

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 3, as well as Fire and EMS, responded to reports of a hit and run involving a pedestrian on Carson St. and S. 18th St. at 12:30 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found a female victim with a leg injury.
She was transported by EMS to Mercy Hospital in stable condition.
Several witnesses provided police with the description of a vehicle, including the license plate number. The vehicle was a black Dodge Charger.
Police continue to investigate.
