Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers responded to multiple Shotspotter alerts for the 7200 block of Kelly Street on May 31st around 12:05 a.m.
Responding officers were met by a large group of people fleeing the scene on foot and by motor vehicles. The mass exodus of vehicles led to multiple collisions in the area. When officers made their way through, they found three victims with gunshot wounds and a male injured from a motorcycle collision.
One male shooting victim was transported by EMS in critical condition. They were pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at the hospital. The second in stable condition and the final was taken by private vehicle listed as critical condition. The motorcycle operator was taken by EMS in serious condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit and Violent Crime Unit arrived to process the scene and are investigating.
