Pittsburgh Man Charged with Setting Fire to Police Vehicle During Protest

Summary:

A federal criminal complaint has been filed charging Devin Montgomery, 24, of Pittsburgh with arson during the May 30 protest demonstrations downtown.

Montgomery is accused of setting fire to an unmarked police vehicle near the Fifth Avenue entrance to PPG Paints Arena.

His arrest is the result of an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, which would also like to thank the FBI for its assistance with this case.
