Police, EMS Respond to Shooting Victim in Larimer

Summary:

Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a call for a possible gunshot victim on the 100 block Shetland Street just before 4 a.m. on July 5.

Upon arrival, officers witnessed an unresponsive male lying in the street with suspected gunshot wounds. EMS transported him to the hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced deceased.

The Mobile Crime Unit responded to process the scene.

Police continue to investigate.
