Pittsburgh EMS, Fire and Police responded to a report of a car into a house on the 00 block of Beckfield Street around 11:15 a.m.
First Responders found a car with two occupants that had driven through a fence on Rhine Street, down a hill and over a retaining wall, and then struck the rear side of a home.
The male driver was out of the car, alert and speaking. EMS transported him to a local hospital in stable condition. The female passenger was uninjured.
Two people inside the home were also uninjured.
According to the initial investigation, the male driver might have suffered a medical episode causing him to lose control of the vehicle.
Investigators from PLI were on scene to inspect the home and its stability.
Police are investigating but no charges or citations are expected.
