Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 responded to reports of a disturbance inside a residence in the 3000 block of Bergman Street just after 11 p.m.
The call was later updated to say a male had been shot in the leg and was being driven to the hospital by private means.
Responding officers stopped the vehicle near Station Square Drive and W. Carson Street. Medics arrived to stabilize the victim and transport him to the hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
