DAAT Investigation Leads to Federal Indictment for Pittsburgh Man

Summary:

A Damage Assessment and Accountability Task Force investigation into incidents of criminal activity during recent protests in the city has resulted in a federal indictment for a 25-year-old Pittsburgh man.

Jordan Coyne is accused of throwing projectiles at police officers and damaging a police vehicle during the May 30, 2020 protest downtown.

Coyne turned himself in this morning.

Pittsburgh Police would like to thank the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, and the District Attorney’s Office for their assistance with this investigation.
