Police Investigate After Body Found Inside South Oakland Residence

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to a call for a body discovered in a residence on the 00 block of Halket Street in South Oakland before 1:30 a.m.
When officers arrived on scene they observed the body of a deceased adult male in an upstairs bedroom.
It's believed the body may have been there for some time.
The cause, manner, and time of death will come from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
