UPDATE 2: 4:12 p.m. 10/6/20 The victim from this incident has been pronounced deceased at the hospital.
UPDATE: Police have arrested John Withrow, 65, of Pittsburgh. He is charged with Aggravated Assault. He is currently being held in Allegheny County Jail.
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded to reports of shots fired on Lowrie Street at Tinsbury Street around 10 a.m.
Responding officers found a male victim in the street with a gunshot wound to the head. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
The initial investigation reveals that two motorists got into some type of altercation that resulted in the shooting.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are interviewing witnesses. The Crime Scene Unit processed evidence at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
