Pittsburgh Police, Fire and EMS responded to a report of two men injured from a fall while working with a ladder on a house project on the 600 block of Mellon Street around 11:15 a.m.
When first responders arrived, they were directed towards two injured men who were both unconscious. One had been working up on a ladder while the second was holding it for support on the ground level when the fall occurred. The victim on the ladder fell three floors, landing on the second victim below.
Medics transported both men to local hospitals in critical condition.
