Pittsburgh Police are investigating after an accidental discharge of a firearm inside a police unit just after 7 a.m.
An officer was removing a long gun from a vehicle in one of the police zone parking lots when two rounds were accidentally discharged.
There was damage to the vehicle's roof and light bar. There were no injuries.
Per policy, VCU is investigating the incident.
