Police, EMS, Fire Respond for Barricaded Woman in Crisis in Knoxville

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded initially during the day for a welfare check on a female in crisis in the 200 block of Jucunda Street.
SWAT, EMS and Fire were eventually called in when the female barricaded herself inside a residence, threatening to harm herself.
Tactical negotiators established contact with the female via cell phone. When communication broke down, SWAT officers made limited entry into the residence.
The female was taken into custody without incident, treated by medics on scene, and transported to get the help she needs.
