First Responders Rescued A Small Dog Trapped In Lake Carnegie

Summary:

Pittsburgh EMS divers, Fire, Police, Emergency Management and Park Rangers responded to a report of a trapped dog in the Carnegie Lake at Highland Park around 1:15 p.m.

A nearby Pittsburgh Park Ranger arrived and discovered the dog had fallen into the lake and became wedged. The park ranger entered the water attempting to retrieve the dog. Pittsburgh EMS divers were called in to assist getting the dog from an opening under the slab. The Yorkshire terrier was safely retrieved by divers and returned to its owner.
