Just before 4:30 a.m. Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to a single vehicle collision in the 6000 block of Centre Avenue.
When officers arrived, EMS and Fire were attending to the female driver and sole occupant of a vehicle that had struck and damaged the front of a business and some construction scaffolding.
The driver complained of a head injury, but refused transport to the hospital. When asked by officers, the driver agreed to complete a field sobriety test, which she failed. She was arrested at the scene and transported to take a second field sobriety test, as well as a breathalyzer test.
She was charged with DUI and Careless Driving and will appear by summons.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
