Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire Responds to 2-Alarm Residential Structure Fire in Perry North

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire responded to a 1-alarm residential structure fire that grew to 2 alarms in the 200 block of Venture Street just before 2 p.m.
The structure was deemed to be unoccupied and abandoned.
Firefighters declared the fire under control in under 30 minutes. No other structures were exposed to the flames.
No firefighters were injured. Both EMS and Police were also on scene.
The Fire Investigation Unit will investigate the cause of the fire.
